“The Flood outside but Fire Within”🌊🔥

“The Flood outside but Fire Within”🌊🔥

> “By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household.” — Hebrews 11:7 (ESV)

This flood was not merely a record of destruction; it is a revelation of divine mercy wrapped in judgment. The waters that swallowed a corrupt world also lifted a faithful man above it. While sin drowned, faith floated. The same flood that buried rebellion became the womb of a new beginning.

Noah’s obedience stands as a fire within the flood — a steady flame of faith burning against the currents of unbelief. He built when others mocked. He waited when the heavens were silent. He believed when there was no sign of rain. And when the flood came, the ark became the evidence that God honors obedience more than brilliance, and faith more than reason.

Noah had fire within— the faith that refused to be quenched by delay or doubt. That same inner fire is what God still seeks in His people: hearts that burn for righteousness while the world grows cold in compromise. Even when nations rage and kings conspire, God sits enthroned, unmoved. The One who judged by water will soon judge by fire. Yet to those who “kiss the Son” — that is, submit in love and reverence — He becomes a refuge, not a terror.

As the flood once cleansed the earth, now the Word made flesh cleanses hearts. He calls fishermen, heals lepers, forgives sinners, and demonstrates that the real storm He came to calm was not in the sky but in the soul.

The world may mock your obedience, but heaven measures your faith. Build your ark — in prayer, in purity, in perseverance — and let the flame of God within you outlast every flood around you.

🌊 The flood tests the structure of your faith.

🔥 The fire within sustains it.
