*Sanctify His Name*
> `But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness. Isaiah 5:16`
When God said to Moses, “_Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me…_” (Numbers 20:12), He revealed a profound truth: God’s name is sanctified when His people believe Him and obey Him completely.
God does not need us to make Him holy—He is already holy. He asks us to treat Him as holy by trusting His Word above our feelings, logic, or circumstances.
Moses was told to speak to the rock. Instead, he struck it. The miracle still happened, but Moses failed to represent God’s holiness because he acted in unbelief and self-will rather than simple obedience.
Many believers make the same mistake today. We pray, worship, and serve, yet when God speaks, we choose our own methods. We say we trust Him, but our actions reveal fear, doubt, or impatience.
To sanctify God’s name means: Believe what God says, Obey exactly what He commands. Represent His character faithfully. Let your life cause others to honor Him. Every act of obedience declares, _”God is trustworthy. His Word is enough.”_
