*LEARNING TO OPERATE IN THE SPIRIT*
> `“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” — Romans 8:14`
Spiritual maturity is learning to live from the unseen reality of God, rather than being controlled by what we see around us. Scripture says, _“We walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7)_
The believer is not called merely to know about the Spirit, but to walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). This means learning to recognize God’s leading, discern spiritual realities, respond through faith, and make decisions according to God’s Word.
Hebrews 5:14 says that mature believers have their spiritual senses “exercised” to discern good and evil. Spiritual sensitivity therefore grows through prayer, obedience, Scripture, and practice.
We are also equipped with spiritual weapons: _“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God” (2 Corinthians 10:4)._
True spiritual maturity is not about how many supernatural experiences we have, but by how faithfully we walk, discern, obey, overcome, and bear the fruit of the Spirit.
We live on earth, but we are called to operate from our position in Christ. _“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” — Galatians 5:25._
