*SOWING INTO THE BUSINESS OF GOD*
> `“Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest.” Deuteronomy 15:10`
What we release into God’s work becomes a seed with a divine harvest. Luke 6:38 says, when we give generously for the cause of God and the salvation of souls, our giving is never wasted. Jesus promises that it will return to us “good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over.”
Multiplication begins with sowing. Whatever we purpose in our heart, we must do it cheerfully, trusting that God is able to make “all grace abound” toward us, so that we may have sufficiency and “abound to every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:6–8 says, “He which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” We should therefore sow generously—not only our money, but also our time, talents, strength, and resources into God’s Kingdom.
God gives seed to the sower, but the seed must be sown before it can be multiplied. 2 Corinthians 9:10 — “He that ministereth seed to the sower… multiply your seed sown.”
God promises to guide, satisfy, strengthen, and make us “like a watered garden.” When we pour ourselves out to bless others, God refreshes us in return. Isaiah 58:10–11 gives the beautiful conclusion: _“If thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul”_
