Strength Without Surrender Is Still Failure

*Strength Without Surrender Is Still Failure*

> `“For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” — Hebrews 12:3`

*Judges 14–17:* Samson shows us that supernatural strength without consecration ends in bondage.

*Lamentations 1–5:* Israel in Lamentations shows us that privilege without repentance leads to ruin.

*Acts 21–22:* Paul in Acts shows us that obedience may lead to chains but never to shame.

*Hebrews 11–12:* Hebrews reminds us that faith is not proved by comfort but by endurance.

*Psalm 136–139:*The Psalms declare that the same God whose mercy endures forever also searches our hearts and hems us in.

God is warning us today: gifts can impress people, but only character sustains destiny; emotions may carry you for a season, but discipline keeps you in the race; suffering does not cancel God’s will—it often confirms it.

Faith is choosing obedience when it costs, holiness when it hurts, and perseverance when quitting feels easier.

Run, not with Samson’s impulse, not with Jerusalem’s pride, but with Christ-centered focus—lay aside secret compromises, refuse delayed obedience, accept refining discipline, and keep moving forward—because those who endure are not the strongest, but the surrendered.

Your brother in Christ,

Apostle Ashok Martin
