ASHOK MARTIN MINISTRIES

“The Voice and Strength of God in You”

“The Voice and Strength of God in You”

> “If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if anyone serves, let him do it with the strength which God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.” — 1 Peter 4:11

The apostle Peter draws a sacred boundary around every word we speak and every act we perform. He reminds us that the believer is not an independent worker in the vineyard of God, but a vessel through which heaven’s power and wisdom flow. When we speak, it must not be from opinion or emotion, but from the heartbeat of God—words that carry the weight of His truth, the compassion of His Spirit, and the authority of His presence.

Likewise, when we serve, we are not to serve from our limited strength or fleeting enthusiasm, but from the endless supply of divine energy that God furnishes. The grace of God is not merely forgiveness—it is enablement. It turns weak hands into instruments of endurance and transforms simple service into sacred worship. Every act done in His strength carries an eternal fragrance.

Peter’s command reveals a greater truth: our lives are designed to be expressions of God Himself. Speaking and serving are not separate ministries; they are two expressions of the same flow—the life of Christ manifesting through a yielded vessel. When the source of your strength is divine, exhaustion does not define you; when the source of your words is divine, silence itself becomes powerful.

And all of this has one ultimate purpose—that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. Glory is not something we give Him after the work is done; it is the visible beauty of His nature revealed in the work itself. Whether through a sermon, a helping hand, or a quiet act of faithfulness, when Christ is the source, God is the focus.

So let your words be the echo of heaven’s voice. Let your service be fueled by the strength of the Spirit. And let your life be the stage upon which Christ alone is glorified. To Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Your brother in Christ,

Apostle Ashok Martin
