Being a Servant of God is more valuable than holding the most celebrated office in the world of men. Why? All the jobs in the world have temporal rewards, serving God has both temporal and eternal rewards.
To lead God’s people to God a sacred trust that carries far greater weight than leading a multi-billion-dollar organization. THE VALUE OF A SINGLE SOUL IS IMMEASURABLE IN GOD’S EYES–so precious that Christ was willing to lay down His life for it. Now, imagine leading 50, 100, or even 30,000 souls. Consider what this means to the Lord. TO LEAD EVEN ONE SOUL IS A SACRED TRUST, BUT TO LEAD MULTITUDES IS A DIVINE PRIVILEGE OF UNPARALLELED SIGNIFICANCE.
A president may govern a nation, but he cannot transform any heart. A CEO may build a global empire, but he cannot save a soul. Yet, as a minister of the Gospel, you have been entrusted with the divine authority to impact lives eternally. This is why your calling is of such immense significance to God.
This is not a role to take lightly. TO LEAD GOD’S PEOPL E IS A PRIVILEGE THAT EVEN ANGELS DO NOT HAVE. Angels are mighty beings, but they cannot preach the Gospel, win souls, or disciple the saints. Yet, as a minister of the Gospel, you have been entrusted with this sacred responsibility. Think about that!!
