*Let not the flesh control you!*
`“But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”Romans 13:14`
Anyone who looks like Christ will suffer tribulation, will be rejected and hated by the world. Christ is an enemy to the world systems and Christ is hated by the systems of this world. The day you put on Christ is the day you have denied the resemblances of the first Adam. Jesus says no servant is greater than his master and what he meant by that, is that nobody who puts on Jesus and reflects his character, values,integrity and essence will be loved by the world.
There’s something not quite right about being loved by the world and you should be very skeptical if you are. If all your friends are unbelievers, if people that love you so much are the people of this world, it is a sign that you are yet to deny the first Adam. The first Adam is of the world, the first Adam is earthly, the first Adam is natural, the first Adam is the institution of the worldly system. And the Bible says if you must come after the second Adam, you have to deny this first Adam. You are not just an independent individual; you’re under some kind of influence. No man on earth is exempt from influences.
Let go off the consciousness of the first Adam, let go off the dominion of the first Adam, let go of the control of the first Adam, let go of the resemblances and mindset of the first Adam and take on Christ. Put off your former self and put on Christ. Deny your former self, and take on Christ. Put on Christ as your garment in order to qualify for taking up your cross.
