*Honour the Lord by giving !*
`Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.Proverbs 3:9`
One of the traditional teachings in the Church is sacrificial giving- that you must periodically sacrifice, go without certain amenities, cut back and limit yourself so that you will have something extra-special to give to God. This erroneous thought process is in full swing in the traditional church of our day.
It is not ‘sacrificial giving’ but ‘giving in faith’ – that matters in the Kingdom of God. Always believe that you will surely receive a multiplied increase of that which you are giving. Believe God for a increase and the abundance God has promised.
You don’t have to drastically adjust your lifestyle downwardly so that you will be able to give God 90 percent of your income and find a way to adjust everything within the ten percent income that remains. However, if you perceive God to be rich and generous, you will willingly sow your financial seed, expecting a bountiful harvest that will cause you to earn hundreds and thousands times in return. In this way you will give the Lord more than the human mind can perceive.
