God wants you to not ignore your body
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:19
Although many people in the world today have received help from physicians, many others are like the woman in Luke 8:43-44. Surgery, no matter how skilfully done, can not remove a demon spirit. Surgery often does bring relief, but this is no guarantee that the demon so disposed will not return to invade some other area of the same body.
Bible quotes many example of people who let their bodily health be destroyed by Over-eating, Gluttony and Inactivity and even wrong, mental and emotional and spiritual habits of Fears, worry, hatred. This includes failure to find rest and peace and trust in Christ. Apart from this we find Bible encouraging us towards proper exercise, proper rest.
Examine yourself carefully for any of these causes. Remember your body is the legal ground through which you can work in the kingdom of men. To serve God’s purpose here on earth, you need this body. But if your body is already damaged God is still a MIRACLE WORKING GOD! He CAN and WILL restore that which Satan has stolen away! Let your body be a dedicated instrument for God. He WILL meet your need!
