One of the surest ways to destroy your spiritual life, as well as your ministry, is to become bitter. If you allow bitterness to take root in your heart, there is no treatment for it.
Not only will bitterness sink your ship; it will drown others as well. Attitudes are contagious, and misery loves company. If you drink the
poison of bitterness, you’ll slowly die. But you’ll also kill others because bitter people spout acid all over the earth.
Nothing so injures the human spirit as the injuries inflicted by other believers. Those wounds are the most difficult to heal. They steal the life from our spirits. However, if you recognize this and allow the Lord to extend grace to you, you’ll be set free.
