Crowned with kindness and mercy..!
Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies
Psalms 103:4
Can you imagine what it would be like to be named king or queen of a nation? Residing in a majestic palace, with the eyes of the world watching, a crown is placed on your head and a regal robe is draped across your shoulders. Suddenly, you are royalty!
You are the righteousness of God and this crown far surpasses any earthly coronation. As a child of the King you have already inherited everything the Father owns – and have been given a Robe of Righteousness.For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. JOHN 3:16
What an incredible love that we should be called the children of God!—that Almighty God, the Creator of the Universe, would reconcile sinful man to Himself by sending His Son in the likeness of man as our needed Savior. We can hardly fathom the depths of His love—what a price He paid to deliver us from the authority of darkness—how much weighed in the balance while Jesus hung on the Cross and shed His Blood. And it was just for us! Oh, the depths of His love are beyond mortal comprehension.
