THE FINAL AUTHORITY: CHRIST HAS THE FINAL WORD

*THE FINAL AUTHORITY: CHRIST HAS THE FINAL WORD*

> `“The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” — John 5:22`

Something certain thing happens and immediately our attention moves toward:

_“What will happen?” “Who will fix this?” “Will I survive?”“What if this person does something?” “What if the government does something?” “What if my provision disappears?”_. John 5 brings us back to a higher reality: _The Father has committed ALL judgment to the Son._

Therefore, ultimately, your circumstances do not possess the highest authority. People don’t have the final word. Circumstances don’t have the final word. Death doesn’t have the final word. The final word belongs to Christ

God has placed all judgment in the hands of Jesus. No person, no circumstance, no accusation, and no earthly authority has the final word—Christ does. _“Hath given him authority to execute judgment.” — John 5:27_

And the One who judges is also the One who gives life (v.21, 26). His judgment is not independent of the Father: _“My judgment is just… because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father.” — John 5:30_

You may not understand the situation, but you know who holds the authority. You may not control the outcome, but you know who has the final word. You may face judgment from men, but your ultimate Judge is Christ.

When Christ is the Judge, circumstances cannot become your god. When Christ has the final word, you can rest.

Your brother in Christ,

Apostle Ashok Martin
