*God’s Wisdom Comes Through the Humble*
> Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man. Ecclesiastes 9:15 KJV
In Ecclesiastes 9:14–18, a mighty king besieges a small city. Its deliverer is not a warrior or a ruler, but a poor wise man. Though forgotten by people, his wisdom saves the city.
This is the pattern of God’s kingdom. God often works through those the world overlooks. Moses was a shepherd, David a forgotten shepherd boy, Gideon the least in his family, and the disciples were ordinary fishermen. Above all, Jesus came in humility, rejected by men, yet through the cross accomplished the greatest victory in history.
The world celebrates power, but God honors wisdom. The world seeks prominence, but God looks for surrendered hearts. A quiet voice filled with God’s wisdom can accomplish more than the loudest display of human strength.
Never underestimate what God can do through a humble, faithful life. He delights in using ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary purposes, so that the glory belongs to Him alone.
