DAY 22 —
“When God Rewrites Stories, Restores Hearts, and Raises the Dead”
> “If God is for us, who can be against us?” — Romans 8:31
In today’s readings, we witness a breathtaking sweep of God’s power—from the altar in Leviticus to the ashes of Job’s pain, from Esther’s hidden courage to the hill of Calvary, and finally to the triumph of resurrection in Corinthians. Leviticus reminds us that God desires not empty rituals but a heart fully yielded to Him.
Job’s cries in the darkness echo the honest questions of every suffering soul, yet his search assures us that God is nearest when He seems most silent.
In Esther’s story, we see how heaven can turn entire nations through the obedience of one willing heart. And on the cross in Mark 15–16, love Himself is lifted up—breaking the power of sin, shattering the grip of death, and rising with unstoppable glory. Paul then declares in Corinthians that this resurrection is not a distant doctrine but a living power that reshapes how we think, hope, and endure today.
These passages together call us to see our God as the One who steps into chaos, into injustice, into sorrow, into death itself—and rewrites the ending.
