*Turning Idols into Instruments of Worship*
`“Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Your name give glory.” (Psalm 115:1)`
There is a deep truth hidden in this principle: *the only way to stop something from becoming your god is to make it serve your God.* Anything that refuses to serve the Lord will soon begin to rule over you. The moment a blessing ceases to glorify the Giver, it becomes an idol in disguise.
If your *money, beauty,influence, or success* begins to compete for space in your heart, bring them under the authority of the King. Command them to bow before the throne. Turn your possessions into *instruments of worship*, your talents into *channels of praise*, your influence into *a testimony of His greatness*.
Your *money* should serve missions. Your *home* should host His servants. Your *beauty* should reflect His holiness. Your *voice* should cause men to worship God with you. Your *success* should announce His Kingship over you.
Because in the Kingdom of God, nothing is truly yours until it has been offered back to Him. Abraham could not possess Isaac until he was willing to sacrifice him. So too, whatever you surrender to God, He sanctifies; whatever you withhold, will enslave you. Let every breath, every gift, every resource, every heartbeat declare: *Jesus is your Lord and King*
For the highest form of worship is not the song you sing, but the *surrender of all you are* — until even your success bows and says, *“Jesus is Lord.”* Therefore, let *everything that has breath*, and everything that He has given breath to, *praise the Lord*! 🙌
