Stay Faithful to Your Calling!
> Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. REVELATION 3:11
One of the key ingredients to having spiritual power is to stay faithful to God. Take a close look at these two scriptures:
This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. 1 CORINTHIANS 4:1 -2
Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? LUKE 16:10-12
God rewards faithfulness. The more faithful you are, the more He will trust you with His power. Our main task isn’t to change the world. It’s not even to change people. No, our main task is to remain faithful to the end.
A large part of being faithful is the capacity to be resilient; that is, having the ability to endure. Life will throw all sorts of obstacles at any ministry that God values. The servant whom the Lord uses over the long run must possess the spiritual fortitude to endure until the end. Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again. PROVERBS 24:16
The guy who gets the prize is the one who breaks the tape. If, at the end of your ministry, you’re still standing on your feet “having done all, to stand”-you’ve endured. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 TIMOTHY 4:7
