God sees your thoughts –
Jesus said in Matthew 5:27-28 ” Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”
More than the act in the physical God sees the root of the sin inside of your thoughts. The word says in Proverbs 23:7 ” For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: ”
It is in the mind that the thoughts originate , and it is by the flow of your thoughts that you bear fruit accordingly. The deeds of a human are just the manifestation of the thoughts he has been entertaining. That is why Jesus who came on earth to complete all things, completed this statement saying, ” Out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: …. “- (Mathew 15:19 -20)
So knowing that the Lord God looks on the inside of you, let us purify ourselves and be conscious that our hearts desires and the thoughts of our minds are laid bare in the sight of God and he is the rewarder of everything that is done in secret, may it be good or bad. (Mathew 6:6)
