Behold the Lamb !

*Behold the Lamb !*

> “Behold! God’s Lamb! He takes away the sin of the world!”John 1:29 (TPT)

The call to _“behold the Lamb”_ is a call to shift our entire focus. Instead of being occupied with sin, self, or struggle, Scripture directs our attention to Christ—the One who has already dealt with sin completely. Victory begins not with striving, but with seeing Him rightly.

Hebrews 12:2 reminds us to _“look unto Jesus.”_ The strength of our faith is sustained by where our eyes rest. When our gaze is fixed on Christ—His finished work, His nature, His love—our hearts are steadied and our walk becomes firm.

2 Corinthians 3:18 reveals a spiritual principle: _as we behold Him, we are transformed into His image._  Transformation is not produced by pressure, but by vision. The more clearly we see Christ as the Lamb—humble, pure, and victorious—the more His character is formed within us.

Hebrews 9:26 declares that _He put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself._ This means we are not called to carry what He has already removed. Beholding the Lamb brings rest to the conscience, because it fixes our confidence on His completed work, not our performance.

1 John 3:3 shows that _true purity flows from this hope of seeing Him._ When the heart is occupied with Christ, it is naturally drawn away from sin. Holiness becomes a response to His beauty, not a burden of effort.

Ultimately, to behold the Lamb is to live with a continual awareness of who Christ is and what He has accomplished. It is a quiet, steady gaze that shapes the inner life—bringing transformation, purity, and peace without striving.
