“REMEMBER YOUR FIRST LOVE”

*REMEMBER YOUR FIRST LOVE*

> “Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.” -Jeremiah 2:2 (KJV)

The LORD remembers first love before He rebukes present sin. He recalls devotion that followed Him into deserts without demand. Yet the beloved turned away from glory to vanity.

They forsook the Fountain of Living Waters for broken cisterns. Love was exchanged for habit, covenant for convenience. Faith remained in words while hearts drifted far. Obedience faded into ritual, and loyalty split its allegiance.

The LORD asks, “What fault did you find in Me?”—and heaven is silent. This word confronts every soul that serves without loving. Return is not movement of feet but awakening of the heart. Repentance begins where memory is restored. Examine your love today—do you follow God in wilderness or only in abundance?

Your brother in Christ,

Apostle Ashok Martin
