DAY 79 —
*“When God Interrupts Pride and Redirects Mercy”*
> “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts. — Zechariah 4:6
Revival comes when vision replaces fear, humility replaces pride, and compassion replaces judgment.
God exposes self-reliance before He releases deliverance—empty ditches must be dug before heaven sends water *(2 Kings 3).*
True authority flows from intimacy, not position; Elisha sees what armies cannot because he walks where God speaks *(2 Kings 4–6).*
Pride always falls from the heights it boasts in—Edom collapses not by enemies alone but by its own arrogance *(Obadiah).*
Running from God never cancels His call; it only deepens the storm until surrender becomes unavoidable *(Jonah 1).*
God’s mercy offends religious pride because He saves whom He wills, not whom we approve *(Jonah 3–4).*
Obey before you understand, lay down pride, forgive enemies, accept God’s mercy for others, and let the Spirit—not emotion, not strength—govern your obedience.
