“Authority Is Temporary, the Throne Is Eternal”

DAY 70 —

*“Authority Is Temporary, the Throne Is Eternal”*

> “He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings.” — Daniel 2:21

Those who exalt themselves will be brought low, those who fear God will stand, and only allegiance to the Lamb prepares a man for the days ahead.

*2 Samuel 15–18:* Rebellion rises even in God-ordained households, Absalom steals hearts while David flees in humility, teaching that power seized collapses but authority submitted to God is preserved

*Ecclesiastes 1–3:* Ecclesiastes exposes the emptiness of striving—everything under the sun shifts with time, yet obedience anchors the soul beyond time.

*Daniel 4–6:* Nebuchadnezzar learned that pride dethrones men until heaven restores sight to the humbled, while Daniel stands unshaken because faithfulness outlives regimes and lions recognize true authority.

*Revelation 5–6:* In Revelation the Lamb alone is worthy to open the seals, history moves not by chaos but by Christ, judgment unfolds because mercy was rejected, and silence follows when heaven acts.

Submit to God’s timing, walk humbly in authority, and remain faithful when power shifts. _“Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” — Ecclesiastes 12:13_
