When God Builds Your Life, He First Builds Your Heart

*When God Builds Your Life, He First Builds Your Heart*

> “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1

God’s laws in Exodus 21–24 show that His boundaries are blessings. He shapes His people by giving them a way to live that protects their worship, their relationships, and their justice.

Job’s cry in chapters 9–11 reveals how small we feel before God’s greatness, yet how deeply God listens even when we don’t understand His ways. Nehemiah begins rebuilding not with effort but with prayer—God strengthens him because his heart bows before the throne before his hands touch the work.

In Matthew 20–21, Jesus shows that true greatness is found in humility and surrender; the King who comes riding on a donkey teaches us that authority flows from obedience. And Paul reminds the church in 1 Corinthians 4–5 that holiness is not optional—what God builds must be kept pure.

All today’s passages whisper the same truth: if you let God shape your heart, He will rebuild your life, your calling, and your future with His own hands.

Your brother in Christ,

Apostle Ashok Martin
