*God’s plan for you is : Peace*
Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Come back to me! By returning and resting in me you will be saved. In quietness and trust you will be made strong. Isaiah 30:15
Many times, the plans we make are not born of faith but of fear, competition, and insecurity. These plans are nothing but invitations to step into the very storm we dread. They push us into striving, comparing, and fighting battles that God never asked us to fight. *“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death”* (Proverbs 14:12).
God’s plans are different. *“I know the plans I have for you… plans for peace and not for evil”* (Jeremiah 29:11). The path of God may not always look logical or powerful in the world’s eyes. Sometimes it looks like foolishness—like Jesus sleeping in the boat while the storm raged (Mark 4:37–39). Yet that rest was not weakness but trust in the Father’s perfect will.
When we choose to walk in God’s peace, we refuse the invitation to join the storm of fear, rivalry, and self-preservation. Instead, we align ourselves with the Prince of Peace, who said,, *“My peace I give to you; not as the world gives”* (John 14:27).
*“Be still, and know that I am God”* (Psalm 46:10). Stillness is not weakness. It is faith. It is choosing peace over striving. Victory is not in fighting every wave. It is in trusting the One who commands the sea.
