*Abraham: A man of Altars!*
Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD.Genesis 13:18
Abraham was a man of Altars. Altars are the door, It is a gate, a Portal , a spiritual infrastructure which is a place of intersection between the natural man and spirit being, the visible with the invisible. It is the System in the spirit realm for hosting the presence of God.
_Genesis 18:1 And as Abraham sat at the entrance of the tent in the heat of the sun among the oaks of Mamre, the LORD appeared to him_: When you build an altar and begin to live your life around that altar, it becomes a place from which your life is governed. The altar becomes a law in your soul that shapes and controls your life.
We read in Genesis 18:2 that Abraham has an encounter with God: The altar that Abraham built became the place where God landed. It became the gate of heaven. That day their sorrows ended, Sarah was blessed! Abraham could stand in the court of heaven and negotiate with God. They were talking about the regions. Through the altar he was able to meet God
We see in Genesis 17:8 that *Altars become signature of authority of God.* When Abraham built an altar, he dedicated that city to God. And God suddenly had authority over that land, the rulers there were suddenly disarmed. Because that altar was a legal contract for man to dedicate an area to God. Abraham could move his tent from one place to another, but his altars became signatures in the spiritual realm, making it legal for God to make demands on the city where they were build.
Only way humans can contend is through Altars. Anywhere you build an Altar is given to you as possession. Nothing can challenge your existence there. Nobody prospers without altars. Your business will not cross a level. A spirit will come to you and limit you. Therefore wise men are the men of altars.
Life cannot be shifted and manipulated when there is an altar. When you get married, when your kids start schooling, when you enter a city, when you initiate a business – first build your altar of prayer. When anything will try to attack you, your altar will rage, fire will devour them and burn them. Your family belongs to the Lord, your children cannot sin because they are dedicated on the Altars. Hallelujah 🙌
