*THE HONOR OF YOUR CALLING*
`”For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God…And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.” Hebrews 5:1,4`
To be a leader is always a great honor- whether in politics, government, education, or any other sphere of influence. To be entrusted with the responsibility of guiding and influencing people is a privilege that carries significant weight. However, TO BE A LEADER IN THE HOUSE OF GOD IS AN EVEN GREATER HONOR, FOR IT IS A ROLE THAT BELONGS TO CHRIST HIMSELF. It is about His work, His vision, and His Kingdom.
WHEN YOU ARE CALLED TO LEAD IN GOD’S HOUSE, IT MEANS HE HAS ENTRUSTED YOU WITH A PORTION OF HIS WORK. That’s big! In Matthew 16:18, our Lord Jesus declared, _”I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”_ Notice that He didn’t say, “Let us build my church”; He said, _”I will build my church.”_ This means that the work of building the Church is ultimately His.
Every part of the work that we carry out to fulfil His vision is a huge responsibility, because it means He’s carrying it out through us and with us. God has not called you to do it all alone, He as called you to work with Him. Failure only comes when you try to work FOR Him. Success is a result of working WITH Him.
Preach with Him, and your messages will be effective. Lead with Him, and your leadership will be effective. Pastor with Him, and those who follow you shall not want. Run the ministry with Him, and the ministry shall not lack. Lay hands with Him, and you will see miracles.
