*YOUR LABOR IS NOT IN VAIN*

`”Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”1 Corinthians 15:58`
Your labor is not in vain. At times, it may fee like it is. You may pour your heart into the work of the Lord and into people – and still not see the results you desire. The Bible says, _”And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”_ (Galatians 6:9). It may even look like it’s in vain. Others may mock, ignore, or overlook your efforts. But the word says, _”Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded._ (2 Chronicles 15:7).
Even if people don’t thank you, even if they don’t celebrate you like they should, keep being faithful, God sees what you are doing, and the Bible says, _”‘For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”_ (Hebrews 6:10). The Bible says in Proverbs 14:23 that there’s profit in all labour. In this work you are doing for the Lord, there is `profit`. You are not working for nothing! Glory to God!
Malachi 3:16 shows us that everything we do or sacrifice for the sake of the Gospel is recorded, and the Lord also rewards us for it. Our Lord Jesus said: _”Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life”_ (Mark 10:29-30).
Your rewards start here on earth, they are not deferred until you get to heaven. However, a time is coming when you will stand before the Judgement seat of Christ and hear Him say to you, _”Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”_ Therefore, take courage and serve the Lord diligently. The Lord said In Revelation 22:12, _”And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall Be.”_ What a day that will be! What a day to look forward to! `Don’t stop serving. Don’t let anything move you. Always abound-excel and make progress in the work of the Lord, for your labour is not in vain. Glory to God!`
