*Obedience and Sacrifice*
`Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22`
The moment you become born again, your life was no longer yours, in fact your life was not yours in the first place, it was yielded to whatever spirit you gave your heart to, be it of darkness or of light. But now that you’ve come to God, you must put aside all worldliness, all fleshly desires to grow in intimacy to be ranked with higher authority in God’s kingdom.
If you want to be known and numbered amongst the Immortals, you must grow in intimacy. You will not be known in heaven if you don’t begin to gain rank to operate the dimensions of heaven on earth. When you get to heaven, will you be received as a renowned general or warrior or like an alien, a mere commoner. We must spend time devouring God’s word, to harness the life of God, it is the weightiness and fuliness of God’s life in us that determines how much we weigh, how much we rank in Christ.
It is the intimacy with God through His word that births life which give also authority, because you can’t have authority if you don’t have the fuliness of God’s life in you which is Jesus. One of the reason you lack authority is, because you lack the word, prayer and sacrifice (death to the flesh). Unless we have men who obey, then darkness will continue to prevail.
