BOLD AS A LION!
`I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.Psalms 119:45`
It’s not enough to know a great deal of head knowledge about God; it is what we do with what we know that brings us victory. The extent of God’s life we walk in is up to us—not Him. _Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 TIMOTHY 6:12_
It takes faith to latch on to what the Father has given—to believe that we possess what God has declared. The Lord doesn’t do this all by Himself. It takes us trusting God— believing Him—being bold as a lion—separating ourselves from those around us—and stepping out.
Eternal life is not based on feelings or a consciousness that we possess it. Nor does it begin the moment our body dies— but when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Think about it! If we are not already infused with this eternal life the moment we pass from this earthly existence, we are not going to heaven. Eternal life is what takes the sting of death away.
Therefore turn away from living according to the flesh. Focus on who you are in the spirit realm and live by the spirit. Don’t be so focused on your surroundings that it is difficult to move into what God has prepared for us from the beginning.
