The appointment of death!
> According to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die.. Psalm 79:11
Death and the future state are by their very nature mysteries that cannot be solved apart from the revelation that has been given in the Bible. Job calls it as the “king of terrors” (Job 18:14). Further, The Bible also says, “What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death?” (Psalm 89:48).
Moreover Hebrews 9:27 says , this death is an appointment: “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”. Death was appointed to come across every men according to the old handwriting that wrote condemnation over our lives. But thanks be to God who in Jesus Christ have blotted out that handwriting and canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! He placed them all onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. (Colossians 2:13-14)
So we cancel all untimely death whether through sickness or accidents and cancel all appointments of death that the enemy have planned by speaking God’s truth and believing in the redemptive work of Christ. Bible says that these are warring weapons that will bring vengeance on the nations and every resistant power— Praise-filled warriors will enforce the judgment decreed against their enemies. This is the honor he gives to all his godly lovers. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!(Psalms 149:7)
