An unexamined life is not worth living!
Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need first hand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test, do something about it.

Experience does not necessarily make you better; in fact it tends to make you worse, unless it’s EVALUATED experience. A disciple’s greatest threat is satisfaction— “an arrival mentality”— the failure to keep asking, “How can I improve?” The greatest threat to your ministry is ‘YOUR MINISTRY’.
Don’t be so busy doing things that you don’t become someone significant. Don’t hesitate to go back to your beginning and ask, “Lord, how am I doing—in light of what you want me to be?”
Remember: The process of change is essentially the process of altering your habit patterns. If you do something once, you can do it twice. Do it twice, and you can do it three times. Do it three times, and you’re beginning to make a habit of it. This is how Lord is trying to teach us “letter by letter, line by line, lesson by lesson.”(Isaiah 28:10)
