SUBMIT TO THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD!
For they, being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Romans 10:3
We are victorious because of the righteousness of God. Trying to establish our own righteousness is equal to submitting to the Devil. Satan has been defeated, and its work destroyed. So encourage one another and take authority over satanic power every day of your life until Jesus returns to the earth to set up His kingdom. Take authority over him in the righteousness of God and let him know he cannot harass you and your loved ones. Satan does not care if you have authority over him, as long as you do not EXERCISE IT !!
Again, satan has no power in the life of a believer— except what we allow! As long as we abide in Christ Jesus, the devil cannot harm us. You are walking around defeated and beaten up because you do not realize the power of righteousness of God. It is now your responsibility to just resist the devil! You are the one with dominion now. You must put satan under your feet. Jesus already did His part; it is now your responsibility to enforce Satan’s defeat.
When we resist the devil, we are reminding him that Jesus won the battle, that he is defeated, and that he has no authority over you. The most effective way we can do this is to use the Word of God against him. When Satan hears you speak the Word of God, he knows then that you know your rights, and he must stop his attack. But, remember—the devil will take full advantage of you until you move around trying to establish your own righteousness.
