Strive for transformation!
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2
Before we received Jesus Christ as the Lord and the savior of our lives we were the same as those who are of the World. Now that we have received Christ, we have been given birth in Christ, so we should constantly remind ourselves of who we are , what God has called us in Jesus Christ. This mind renewal process brings transformation in our old person and its thoughts and desires
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, ‘ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God…. ‘
Being in Christ now, you ought to live in this consciousness that you are a New Creature now. Old mannerism of living is dead with the death of Jesus Christ. And with his resurrection you are born to a New way of Life.
Such kind of life is Victorious, void of any kind of subjection to death or sin or corruption. Now you have a Life of purpose, righteousness and incorruptibility. You are victorious in Jesus’ name.
