*”The Ministry of Epaphras: Wrestling for Souls”*

`Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. *He is always wrestling in prayer for you*, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured. I vouch for him that *he is working hard for you* and for those at Laodicea and Hierapolis. Colossians 4:12-13 NIV`
Epaphras shows us that the most powerful ministry often happens out of sight. Paul calls him “our dear fellow servant” and “a faithful minister of Christ” (Colossians 1:7), and describes him as “always wrestling in prayer” for believers to stand firm, be mature, and fully assured in God’s will (Colossians 4:12). His prayers were not casual but persistent, deep intercessions for the spiritual growth of the church.
Seek to be dependable in ministry, not just visible. In a world obsessed with visibility, Epaphras’s example reminds us that God values faithfulness over fame (Matthew 6:6). He didn’t write Scripture or lead a revival meeting, but his impact reached multiple cities. God records his name because heaven values hidden labor.
Suffering for Christ is not a setback but a mark of true discipleship. Paul calls him “my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus” (Philemon 1:23). Even in chains, his ministry continued through prayer and care for multiple churches. His legacy was built on hidden labor that heaven celebrates. Eternal impact comes from *quiet obedience, persistent intercession, and a heart fully devoted to God’s people* (1 Corinthians 15:58).
