*May God increase your honour today*

`Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured. Proverbs 27:18`
Honour refers to respect and regard. The absence of respect and regard in the life of a man is equivalent to disdain and mockery. Hannah was an object of mockery by Peninnah but the day Hannah’s honour came, we no longer hear Peninna mocking her ever again.
The way people treat you is a function of the honour you carry. May my God and your God increase your honour today! Prayer does not waste you, it enhances you. Honour means recognition, skills, effort etc. of potential, giftings. In Esther 6:3 Mordecai had done an effort to save the King’s life but his effort was unrecognised until one day _the king asked, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this?_ And Mordecai’s effort was remembered and he was honoured!
Honour means Reward. When honour is lacking your hands, your pocket, your account will be empty. _Act 28: 8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him. 9 So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed: 10 Who also honoured us with many honours; and when we departed, they laded us with such things as were necessary._ Paul solved the problem of men and were rewarded. It is not enough to be diligent your diligence must be rewarded.
Many people pray but don’t know what belongs to them. Fervent and intentional prayer can make men honourable. Like Jabez until you know what is meant for you and stand to claim it in the place of prayer, you will not possess your possession. May God honour you today.
